John & Christina Root have been lifesharing with individuals with disabilities since 1979 and are co-founders of the Cadmus LifesharingAssociation. They have had a Motorhome for many years and always found Motorhome trips to be the very best vacations. Now they are sharing the fun of motorhoming with a wider circle both in the disabilities community and outside. Traveling in a custom bus conversion solves numerous problems associated with vans and motels. Rocinante, our converted bus, is customed designed and built to provide us a perfect home away from home. We stay in National and State Parks and enjoy both the wonderful scenery and the amenities of the bus.
Sleep in a confortable bunk, ride in the living room, enjoy home cooked meals and great restaurants. Take in the historic, folkloric and fun sights of the Eastern US with a small group of fellow travelers and the experieinced staff from Berkshire Village.

Traveling long distances in the bus is part of the fun, but mostly we spend our days visiting wonderful historic sites, exploring the neighborhood and campground, stories around the campfire,or watching a relevant movie, or looking at the pictures from the day. We eat out, or cook in, depending on the events of the day and our fancy!
